jazzqueen	3:23a	You just see what you want to see It occurs to me that maybe updating this thing every now and then would be helpful, lest I be forgotten to the world. Finals are very nearly over. The last one is on Thursday, and it's total bullshit, unfortunately. I'll be glad when that's over. I've got grades back for 15 out of 30 units already. Looking good so far. Somehow I've managed to be super busy and at the same time I feel like I never get anything done. I think mostly I'm not used to spending days studying for one test, which means everything else gets bumped back to the weekends. After Thursday afternoon I am basically free, though. But then again... I mean, there's people I've promised to see and then flaked on (one of them is apparently Jesus), I haven't baked any cookies or built a gingerbread house, I gotta recycle the cans and bottles that will pay for my Christmas tree, the list goes on. So, um, for a given value of free, I suppose. Pretty sure that come Thursday evening I'll just kick off my shoes and be like "fuck everything, I deserve to do whatever the hell I want right now!" Which will probably involve watching tv. Speaking of tv, I watched Children Of Men to relax after last Thursday's final and fuuuck, I want to own that movie on DVD so I can see the extras. I've been on a kind of apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic bender lately (always liked that trope, to be honest, but I think playing Left 4 Dead a couple months back really got me going) and that movie really hit the spot. Shit's fucked up! Everything's filthy! Yessss. Also, I need to watch more Asian horror movies. There's so many I haven't seen yet. (3 Comments |Comment on this)
